Large Hand turned Plywood Bowl

Hand-turned in Rochester, NY from layered birch plywood, this Large Plywood Bowl highlights the striking geometric pattern created by exposed wood grain rings. Designed with a wide, shallow silhouette and smooth curved profile, it makes a dramatic centerpiece for dining tables, kitchen islands, or entry consoles.

This was individually hand-lathed to showcase the distinctive, high-contrast linear rings unique to exposed plywood layers. The bowl has been smoothly sanded and sealed to highlight the rich natural wood tones and organic grain variations. It is perfect as a decorative centerpiece, key and mail catchall, or display bowl for decorative accents and gourds or used for wrapped candy on lined with a cloth for bread or snacks.
